Directions by Car
From Whitehaven, Cockermouth, Carlisle
At the Papcastle roundabout take the exit onto the A594 towards Maryport. Drive through Dearham. As you come out of Dearham you’ll drop down the hill towards Maryport.
One mile out of Dearham on the A594 towards Maryport you’ll see a play park on the left and new housing on the right, look carefully for a sign on the left for the hospital and Kingdom Hall – take this small left-hand turn onto Main Street, following up past The Dales care home, the Swan Inn and the chip Shop on the right. At the chip shop turn right down Ennerdale Road and at the bottom of the hill you’ll see The Centre on the left, it’s a square, white building with graffiti art around it. You can park on the streets around The Centre or on The Centre’s basketball court if it’s open.
If you miss the turn onto Main St above, stay on the A594 and you’ll drop down into Maryport town centre. When you get to the traffic lights (Netherhall Corner) take a left onto the A596/Curzon Street. As you head through Maryport past Lidl on your right, look out for a sign to the hospital, it’s a small left hand turn onto Ewanrigg Road. Then follow the directions from Ewanrigg Road below.
From Workington
Travel from Workington on the A596, through Flimby, and as you come into Maryport you’ll see Maryport Business Park and West Coast Karting on your left, then just past Grasslot Infants on your left look out for a right-hand sign to the hospital. Take this left hand turn onto Ewanrigg Road. Follow Ewanrigg Road past the hospital and GP surgery on your left. When you get to the mini roundabout with a Premier corner shop, turn left onto the Arches, go past the Mace corner shop and you’ll see the back of The Centre at the end of the Arches on the right.
